This Privacy Policy explains what information QuizRiddles (quizriddles.com) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at contact@quizriddles.com.
Information you give us
You can use QuizRiddles without creating an account or giving us your name, e-mail address or any other personal information. If you contact us by e-mail, we receive your e-mail address and the content of your message, which we use only to reply to you and keep only as long as necessary.
Quiz statistics
When you finish a quiz, your browser sends the quiz's identifier to our server so we can count how often each quiz is completed. We store only these anonymous totals per quiz and per week. Our counter does not store your IP address or any information that identifies you.
To avoid counting the same quiz twice in a week, your browser stores a small note in its local storage (for example, that a quiz has already been counted this week). This note stays on your device, is not a cookie, and is not used to identify you. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the website running, and are kept according to our hosting provider's standard retention periods.
Cookies and advertising
QuizRiddles itself does not set cookies for its quizzes. We use, or may use, Google AdSense to show advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices or https://www.youronlinechoices.eu.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising cookies are only used with your consent, which is requested through a Google-certified consent management message. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link provided with that message.

Fonts and other services
The fonts on our website are hosted on our own server, so loading a page does not send your data to a font provider. We do not currently use analytics or tracking services. If we add such a service in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.
Children
QuizRiddles is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or to object to its use. Because we do not collect personal data to play our quizzes, we usually hold no information about you. If you have contacted us by e-mail and want your messages deleted, write to contact@quizriddles.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add new features or services. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
