About QuizRiddles

QuizRiddles is a free quiz website run by the QuizRiddles team. We create quizzes about countries, animals, food, sports, history, famous people, science, logic and personality, and publish them in 21 languages so that people around the world can learn something new in just a few minutes.

What we believe

We think a good quiz should teach, not just test. That is why every question comes with an explanation, and every quiz has a longer background section and a few extra facts. We avoid the same questions you have seen a hundred times elsewhere — capitals, flags and 'largest' or 'fastest' records — and look instead for facts that make people say, 'I didn't know that.'

Our quizzes are free to use and require no sign-up. We do not ask for your name, e-mail address or any other personal information to play.

How we create our quizzes

Each quiz starts with research into what people are curious about and which facts are genuinely surprising. Questions are written to follow clear rules: they must be accurate, based on widely accepted sources, fair in their answer options and free of trick wording. Difficulty rises from easy to hard within each quiz.

We use AI tools to help us draft and translate content. Every quiz is then checked by our team: facts are verified against reliable sources, doubtful claims are removed or reworded, and automatic checks make sure each page meets our minimum standards for depth and structure before it is published.

Topics we avoid

To keep QuizRiddles welcoming for everyone, we do not publish quizzes about current politics or politicians, religious debates, wars and conflicts, or disputed borders. In quizzes about real people, we stick to their public work and achievements and avoid private lives, rumours and gossip.

Languages

All quizzes are written first in English and then translated into 20 other languages, including Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish and Russian. Titles and descriptions are adapted for each language rather than translated word for word. If you notice an unnatural translation, please tell us — we fix reported issues quickly.

Corrections

We work hard to be accurate, but mistakes can happen and some facts change over time. If you find an error, please write to us at contact@quizriddles.com with the quiz name and the question. We review every report and update the quiz when a correction is needed.
